Congratulations to all the Baltinglass OEC Instructional Staff team who recently passed their latest Rescue Emergency Care First Aid Course with flying colours.
Rescue Emergency Care First Aid was established in the mid 1980’s in Scotland, the course enables participants to gain the necessary first aid skills and confidence to administer fist aid in remote and isolated locations.
As part of their first aid training the instructional staff also passed with distinction the F.E.T.A.C. level 5 Occupational First Aid Course which is recognised by the Irish Health & Safety Authority. Training to use Baltinglass OEC’s Automated External Defibrillator was a fundamental part of this course.
Many thanks to Course provider Barry Redmond of First Response.
Baltinglass OEC is fully committed to providing the highest standards of professional to all its visitors who participate in its Outdoor Education Programmes; this commitment is reflected in its ongoing staff training programme.
