SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF AN ECOSYSTEM

woodland ecology at baltinglass oec wicklowAs part of the centres comprehensive outdoor education policy, Baltinglass OEC run a very successful Scientific Study of an Ecosystem.

This course taught by experienced and motivated teachers, is tailored for students taking the Practical Ecology Element of the Leaving Certificate Biology Syllabus  and the course work B Additional Student Investigations element of the Junior Certificate Science Syllabus. 

Our course field work takes place in the Lords Wood, an area of significant woodland diversity only minutes walk from the centre.

One – Day Residential

A two day residential programme which combines the ecology programme as described above with an outdoor pursuits multi-activity day.
